What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
I walk about 40 minutes briskly 4 times a week. I stopped smoking 3 months ago. My BP (controlled - suffer from white coat syndrome) is 115-54...pulse is between 54 and 60. However, I get lightheaded but I guess that is because I am still withdrawing from Nicotine...was on patch. Now use about 4 mg of nicotine daily through the spray mist.
Are these numbers good in your opinion? Why the slow pulse and lightheadedness?
These numbers are excellent!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query,
You have excellent numbers and I would like to se them remain like this. Congratulations for giving up smoking and the benefits are enormous. You must have started reaping most of them. Please, never yield to the pressure or temptation of smoking again.
Your pulse is low. This is typical in persons who exercise intensely. I will like you to record your numbers for about 3days and send to me. A one time pulse measurement doesn't give us reliable information as pulse changes so much in a single day. In addition to regular exercise, healthy diet and avoiding excess salt, fats would be helpful. Also, enrich your meals with fiber, ,fruits, vegetables and drink enough water daily. Alcohol in excess volumes is not a good habit.
I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Thanks for using our services.
I hate smoking and will never go back to that life-style.
We cook with olive oil and coconut oil, eat tons of fruit and vegetables and have a spinach salad every night. I take Omega 3 fish oil (liquid) daily plus CoQ10, C, D and garlic and gluthianone. We eat fish, lentilles, chic peas, all sorts of beans, veggies, yogurt, no red meat, occasionaly very lean pork which is lower in cholesterol than chicken. Chicken very rarely. Tempeh and tofu with veggies in stir fries...Porridge for breakfast with flax seeds and raisins...I am making myself hungry again...lol
No diabetes.
What about lightheadedness? Smoking and nicotine withdrawal? Not too serious with a mild headache. Not true dizziness. Tired a bit too.
I drink a tiny glass of red wine daily or every second day...
Your are doing great...Keep up!

Hi,
I am very happy with this detailed plan. Please, keep up and stick to your wishes. Your pulse is okay as long as you have no symptoms. This is normal and for persons who exercise often, this is an adaptation.
Your wine consumption is good. That has no negative effects on health, Studies actually suggested that it is protective drinking small volumes like you are doing.
I wish you well and keep me posted. Should you require any specific advise, feel free to ask me at this time. I wish you well and proud of your efforts...And above all how far you have come.
