What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
Question: Hello sir, I'm XXXXXXX from XXXXXXX
Following is my blood test report
Haemoglobin: 10.9 gm%
differential count:
Neutrophils-44%
AtypicalLymphocytes-50%
Eosinophils-2%
Monocyte-04%
Peripheral smear study
RBC'S are normocytic hypochromic to microcytic hypochromic, severe anisopoikoloctosis, polychromasia, eliptocytes noted and tear drop cells noted, macrocytes are also noted.
WBC'S are normal
IMPRESSION: dimorphic anemia
Sir please let me know whether the condition is critical. Is it possible to cure the problem?

Dimorphic anaemia refers to anemia that has two different causes acting together that is iron deficiency as well as a Vitamin B12 deficiency.
I would advise you to go for folate supplementation and take vitamin B12 injections with your doctors advise.
The condition can be totally cured after undergoing proper treatment.
