What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Question: On Sunday I took 2000 mg of tylenol over 17 hours (4 extra strength tablets) and then I had a blood test the following day (so on Monday, ~27 hr after the first dose and ~10 hr after the last dose). My AST/SGOT and ALT/SGPT levels were slightly elevated--44 and 56, respectively. My Alk phosphatase level and bilirubin level are both normal (60 and 0.7, respectively), as were platelet counts and other routine blood tests done. I have talked to my Doctor and I am following up with more tests with my Doctor on Monday, I just wanted to understand the relationship between acute tylenol use and liver enzyme levels. From what I read, even therapeutic doses of acetaminophen may cause elevated liver transaminase levels...is it possible that the tylenol use contributed in this case?
