What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
This should not be the reason for concern, but do not ignore it.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
This should not be the reason to concern, however you can not ignore it either. To evaluate kidneys condition apart from creatine level it is necessary to know:
- GFR
- potassium level
- urine analysis (urine SG, protein in the urine)
- kidney blood perfusion (ultrasound should be good for the first test)
If you have any of this tests, please attach them.
Your result is slightly elevated. This can be due to dehydration indeed. However if you have diabetes or do not urinate much or urinate frequently, your urine is foamy when urinating, you should not wait 6 months and consult nephrologist.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
Would you still recommend a consult?
Foamy urine indicates protein in the urine.
Detailed Answer:
Foamy urine indicates that you are loosing proteins with your urine. This is not a good sign for sure. Frequent urinating seems to be caused by increased liquids intake, however such symptom is also characteristic for chronic kidney failure.
I suggest you to have urine analysis at first. If there will be a protein in urine, you should consult nephrologist.
Regards.
