Hi doctor,
Thanks for the reply.
The doctor had given one course of drips yesterday and he said he will give for today and tomorrow also.
But as this is a diwali festival time, can I travel today night to other place, it's one night journey?
Can I take tablets or other medications?
Thanks in advance.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. In thyphoid fever rest is required. But if its needed and your health is ok then you can travel one night journey. But after that take proper rest.
You can take oral antibiotics like ciprofloxacin or ofloxacin tablets. But again it is prescription based medicine so you should take it on written prescription only.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.

Hi doctor,
Thank you very much for the answers.
Actually I got typhoid when I was in school time and I thought I will never get it again. Is it true doctor?
Is there any risk if I travel in this time?
Actually I am not feeling like I have fever, but still I wore sweaters, cotton to ears. Any precautions to be taken if I am traveling doctor?
How many days of rest needs to be taken doctor to cure this disease?
How will I or doctor come to know that it has gone or not?
Thanks in advance doctor.
