Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.
The reason why your husband is called for blood test is:
1. It is possible that you may have been tested positive for hepatitis. A small possibility that the blood test is positive for HIV or syphilis.
2. May be you are Rh negative. They may want to know his blood group and Rh.
Attending the appointment will clarify things.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Hi,
Why are you so much preoccupied with thoughts about HIV? It could be hepatitis too.
HIV infection does not have specific symptoms. Within few weeks of HIV infection, one may develop flu like symptoms like fever, sore throat, fatigue etc. Once this subsides, there can be a latent phase of about 20 years before AIDS develops.
If you have further concerns do write to me.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama.

Hi,
The rash caused by HIV is not specific. So it is difficult to say just looking at rash.
I would like to clarify one more thing. HPV virus does not cause HIV. Virus causing HIV is different.
