What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Wed, 5 Apr 2017
Question: Hi,

I have a Body odour problem and it doesn't seem to go. I shower twice a day when possible at least once a day.
I tried chlorophyll tablets, bodwywash for bromhidrosis and maximum strength anti perspirant by perspi-guard.

I've asked a GP before who asked I take a blood test for sugar levels and that was all fine. Would appreciate a solution as it affects my general confidence at work.

Many thanks,
xxxxx

Brief Answer:
Try anti-bacterial soap.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Body odor is mainly caused by bacteria. I would suggest you to try:

- Use anti-bacterial soap.

- Foods that tend to make you sweat more, such as fatty foods, hot peppers or other spicy foods, might also contribute to body odor. And the aroma of foods such as onions or garlic can be carried in the sweat, making you smell bad.

- If you have excessive sweating (called hyperhidrosis). There are a few treatment options for those with more severe sweating. Also, certain medical problems can lead to excessive sweating. For which you should visit a dermatologist.

- Bathe with warm water and keep your arm pits clean and dry.

I hope this answered your query.
