Low Hb is expected in chemotherapy pt, High B12 due to supplements. .
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Low hemoglobin suggests anemia.
High leucocyte count can be due to infection, inflammation or malignancy.
High B 12 levels is probably due to intake of vitamin B12.
You may stop B 12 for some time till levels come back to normal.
Its good that your bone density is appropriate for age.
Anemia is common among people having under gone chemo and / or radiotherapy.
You may take up a peripheral blood smear examination to know the type of anemia.
In addition, please post the differential counts to know the probable cause for raised white blood cell count.
Thanks and take care
