What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Tue, 30 May 2017
Question: Hello. I've been using cocaine for recreational purpose frequently for a while four times a week (since one year). Due to the use my blood pressure became high. I stopped using now for more than a month. My blood pressure is still a bit high (139/75 in average).
I went to cardiologist and had my heart checked as well as blood test. Everything is normal.
Is my blood pressure going to get back to normal after I stop using ?

Brief Answer:
Blood pressure not very high to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

This blood pressure does not seem to be from cocaine use.

Diastolic blood pressure is not very high to warrant medication. Blood pressure seems to be fine.

I dont see any major reason to worry about blood pressure as of now.

Start exercise and have diet low in sugar and fat. Lose weight if you are overweight.

Meanwhile check blood pressure once every week for next 3 weeks and see if its varying.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Regards
