What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Question: I had a blood test done and my WBC count was higher (out of range) than my physical the previous year. My Dr. doesn't seem concerned at all but someone mentioned leukemia and now I'm freaking out. What are your thoughts.
Brief Answer:
No concern for leukemia
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query. I understand your concerns.
However, the reports are fine. The slightly high white cell count looks normal to me.
And there is absolutely no concern for leukemia on this report. I fully agree with your doc.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further.
Regards

Thank you for your reply...why would my EOS be high and my Neutros be on the higher end of normal. My report from 2016 shows my EOS at 0.4 and Neutros at 5.6
Brief Answer:
Neutrophils are normal
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,
Neutrophils are normal and eosinophils are borderline high. High eosinophils are usually due to allergic problems but this is very marginal. Not really a cause for concern in my opinion.
