sHOULD I TAKE SOME SUPPLEMENTS?
Blood tests are suggestive of Iron deficiency anemia
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma'am,
Good afternoon.
I can understand your concern.
After having gone through the brief history given in your query and the lab test results I am of the opinion that you are suffering from iron deficiency anemia for which you may need some oral supplementation in the form of Fefol capsules of Fefol-Z spansules once daily to correct the deficiency state.
You are also advised to increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, meat intake (if you take non-veg), fruits like dates, apples which are rich in iron may also be taken.
Since you have been taking RAIM-30 capsules for the stomach acidity related issues continue to take it for at least 4 weeks.
Avoid taking hot, spicy or oily foods, increase the intake of water, do regular exercise, & decrease the intake of coffee.
Hope the suggestions given above would be useful to you.
Best regards.

My doctor had also suggested Gaviscon liquid..do i hav to take it after every meal?
What can be done to reduce ESR?
i am not suffering from cold/cough/inflammations.
Gaviscon liquid can be taken for immediate relief of heart burn.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma'am,
Good evening.
Thanks for your reply and the compliments.
Gaviscon is an antacid liquid preparation which can be used for the immediate relief of heartburn but its effect lasts only for a shorter duration.
Now since you have been suffering from anemia, so also you need to take iron tablets (Fefol or Fefol-Z) for its treatment.
Gaviscon may interfere with the absorption of iron tablets. For this reason, it is best to take iron tablets at least 2 hours after taking the antacid Gaviscon.
Regarding the raised ESR, in addition to chronic inflammatory conditions or infections the other common cause is anemia itself. Once the anemia is treated the ESR will also return back to its normal value. So, at this moment as long as you don't have any other problem there's nothing to worry about the raised ESR.
Hope the suggestions given above could be useful to you.
