What Does My Follicular Study Results Mean?
Question: Hi, I did follicular growth monitoring scan, doctor said i already ovulated but report says right ovary 20mm(1) cyst, left ovary 15mm(1) irregular, Endo 11mm secretory and pod Fluid++. What does it mean. please help me.
Note: doctor asked to do intercourse every alternative day for next 2 weeks, why should we do it as i have already ovulated.
Brief Answer:
Yes, you might have ovulated
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Fluid in the pod (Pouch of Douglas) is an indication of ovulation. There can be other follicles developed incompletely along with one which ovulated. Hence, the 20 mm and 15 mm may be incompletely matured follicles.
I do agree with your Gynecologist and you may have to attempt intercourse as you are fertile. But the egg stays not for the entire next 2 weeks. Life span of the egg is not more than 3 days.
Wish you good health.

Hi doctor
Thanks for the reply. I have one more clarification. My "Endo" level is 11mm (Secretory), is it normal?. Doctor has asked to take Susten 200 mg(Vaginal) - (1-0-1). Why this tablet and any side effect of this tablet? What should be the interval of in-taking this tablet? i am not able to have it on morning, as it is leaking, taking only at night.
And for my husband semen analysis everything is normal only PH is 9, is this will cause fertility issue? Please advice.
Thanks
