What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor,

As discussed,please find the attached reports. Only the report for PCR HIV 2 is pending and I am anticipating the results for the same by this sunday.

Welcome once again to HCM.
You had one HIV DNA PCR test and two CMIA tests ( one is a combo test and another is an antobody detection test).
Your negative HIV DNA PCR test and the COMBO test by 28 days after the exposure cofirmed that you are free from HIV 1 infection. HIV 2 result also would likely to become non reactive.

The HIV type 2 test done through RT-PCR RNA has come as NOT DETECTED.
