What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?
Question: she is now ok play and eat . doctor give multi vitamin and iron supplement syrup. sir i want to know how plaelet increase in second report because it is taken 12 day after first report .it due to fever or lab error.

Hi.... I understand your concern. I have read through both the reports. The initial report is showing as platelet count is adequate, it is not mentioning how much is the actual platelet counts. Where as the second report is showing platelet count in excess of 10 lakhs which is abnormal. Moreover 2nd report is also showing a high total count which is also abnormal. ans 1 first time fever for 5 day so doctor told viral fever and give medicine and she recover.again fever start after 18 days so doctor told for test and find typhoid when doctor start medicine fever start down and finally she becomes ok in five day but we give medicine 7 days , after 6 days she has nozzle problem and sneezing problem more that time agian fever start but not more than 100 degree so doctor give cepodem (antibiotics and mixed medicine for fever and cough) at time he told for test again. when i start medicine fever recover in 2 days.

Hi.... by what you say I feel that she is recovering from recurrent viral illness. I will explain you how a viral illness behaves so that you will feel more confident with her.
Fever of few days without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If the kid is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably viral illness and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active.
Regarding your doubt about very high platelet count and high total count, I suggest that you repeat the same test in another 3 days and get back to me please. Do the test in the same laboratory so that we can compare the result. I am also asking you to wait for 3 days because, now the child is not having any fever and is recovering well.

sir, she is well now and play, talk read and eat fruits like apple. i also used to some supplement in milk like XXXXXXX product. but doctor give her oxymid gold , ferrous ascorbate and folic acid suspension and also an antibiotic till today. sir what is problem

Please continue giving iron supplement for a total of 3 months. You can continue the XXXXXXX product for nutrition also, they are not harmful.

sir my one question is PCV, RDW and other disorder means.
and last question at the time of high zukham the TLC count increase or not.
