What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor,

I asked you a question and a follow up question related to my mother's health condition yesterday.

She has undergone a stent in left and right carotid area and a stent in the cardiac.
I provided the details of CT Angio of lower limbs and abdominal aorta. You gave details related to all the medical terms used in the report and replied that my mother's body has a tendency to form atherosclerotic clots.

I am in XXXXXXX and would like you to suggest a medical college or research institute for consultation.

I would suggest you to take your mother to Christian medical college vellore , its near XXXXXXX and among top 5 medical college and research centre of XXXXXXX dont go for corporate hospitals .
So i would suggest you to meet vascular surgeon at christian medical college vellore .Please follow up with what professor advice you there!

Thanks a lot Doctor for your suggestion. I am grateful for your advice. I just want your confirmation that lymph nodes (extra pulmonary) condition has nothing to do with all the blocks in the blood vessels in my mother's body.

Biopsy or FNAC has to be done

Hi again,

Extra pulmonary lymph node can be because of tuberculosis extra pulmonary or it can even be benign or malignant carcinoma, fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of the lymph node has to be done to rule out the cause of enlarged nodes,most likely lymph nodes have nothing to do with her blockages!
