CBC 2/2017 with WBC 15.4 all differentials normal except Neutrophil (absolute/segmented) at 9.8 on standard range of 1.8 to 9.2. Doctor is referring my to specialist/hemorolist. Anxiety very high!! Do experience mild fatigue at times, but am perimenopausal and stay up late. Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
It may be normal variation or mild infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details and the attached reports.

So you have a borderline elevated white cell counts and mild elevation of neutrophils. This can be seen in mild infections or sometimes can be normal too. Mild elevations can be normal variation due to differential rates of production and destruction of white cells. It should not cause any worry.

Please feel free to ask if there's any further queries.

Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. So i have again gone through the reports and in my opinion they are all normal . Borderline elevated segmented neuterophil can be seen elevated in mild infection and you need not to worry. You can meet a hematologist but he will also advise you the same , not to worry.
Thanks and regards
