What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 18 Aug 2017
Question: I have had low wbc on 2 consecutive tests. Both have very low absolute neutrophil count. Additional testing has showed 4% myelocytes and 1% metamyelocytes as well as 3% atypical lymph, slight poikilocytosis and +1 polychromasia. Lymphocytes 65%. LDH 283.

I had a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow.

I know that you cannot diagnose me, but can you tell me given results above what the statistics show the dr is looking for? They have already ruled out B-12, Folic acid, HIV, Lupus, Rh, hepatitis... I assume some form of blood cancer?

Brief Answer:
Hello. High chance of leukaemia may be there

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

I have gone through the details. So by reports, there seems a high chance of leukaemia or myelodysplasia. Please go for marrow examination and feel free to revert back with the reports.

I will give you more details then.

Thanks and regards
