Brief Answer:
Get her kidney function tested...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

At the outset, her knee and joint pain doesn't seem related to scan findings. Knee and joint pain are perhaps related to age related degenerative athritic condition. This can be evaluated further by an orthopedic surgeon / rheumatologist.

Ultrasound scan which revealed mild loss of corticomedullary differentiation as well as small kidney are non specific finding. It doesn't reflect kidney function. However in this context, it is advisable to get kidney function test - serum creatinine as well as blood urea nitrogen level. Kidney function blood test will help us learn about kidney functioning.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any questions.

Brief Answer:
It would be worthwhile to consult a nephrologist...

Detailed Answer:
Your creatinine level is at borderline high; but not very concerning. However you also have a low hemoglobin value along with ultrasound features. Therefore you should be followed up and renal functions monitored. It would be worthwhile visiting a nephrologist / kidney specialist once.

Hope this helped.
