Panic attacks, Pulse is almost normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query!
You are having episodes of panic attacks.Panic attacks are sudden periods of intense fear that may include palpitations, sweating, shaking, shortness of breath, numbness, or a feeling that something bad is going to happen. It is not necessary that all symptoms are always present in every patient.
Panic attacks can occur due to number of disorders including panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, drug use, depression, and medical problems.
As per your question your highest pulse rate is 110 at most of the time pulse is less then 100, which is normal.
You are on correct medication,However i would suggest you to ask you psychiatrist to add METHYL FOLATE (tetrafol) to the regimen,It potentiates the action of escitalopam. Paroxetine could be started in place of escitalopram, Results with paroxetine are much better (on my patients), doses of clonazepam can also be increased to 1 mg per day if unable to control anxiety at 0.5mg dose. Discuss options with your treating doctor.
Apart from this some general measures to be followed are
-Exercise daily for 40 minutes.
-Try meditation and yoga to relax mind.
-Try to keep yourself busy.
-Eat light food, Avoided spices and oils.
-Remain motivated and don't google too much.
Thanks!
