ABNORMALITIES IN NCV AND DOPPLER
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes Mr. XXXXXXX i do remember your medical history.
I have gone through your reports.
There seems to be early varicose veins in the right lower limb. This is causing stagnation of the blood in the calf soft tissues.
NCV also suggests abnormality ( S1 radiculopathy). This means that the S1 nerve is compressed/pinched somewhere in the spine. This needs to be evaluated by an MRI of the lumbar spine.
Varicose veins are in early stage. So,using varicose vein stockinettes will be helpful.
Keep the leg elevated over a pillow while sleeping.
Avoid standing in the same position for prolonged periods of time.
Fort S1 radiculopathy,i suggest you to consult a nearby neurosurgeon who can guide you better in its management.
Continue taking meganeuron OD plus and vitamin D tablets.
Taking L carnitine tablets will help.
Thank you.
