Thickness of endometrium vary for the phase of your period.
If you are in your first days after bleeding,is normal,if not it is thin.

What should it be?
What should it be?
Brief Answer:
Luteal defective phase
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for you query.
If the ultrasound examination was done at these days of your periods, your endometrium is thin.
Days 28-30 are part of end luteal phase of endometrium, in those days endometrium is thick until 11 mm.
In your case the endometrium isn't grow properly, and in most cases the reason is luteal defective phase.
Luteal defictive phase is caused from the decrease production of progesterone.
Hence you should contact with your gyn, to take the proper treatment.

Ok so does that mean it was thin because it was coming to a end. Should have the test been completed 7 days after ovulation?
My doctor stated it was in the inschemic phase of the endomwntrium cycle and that is why it was thing out.

Brief Answer:
Yes it is in the end
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again!
If your periods are irregular and your endometrium is so thin, it may be because you may be in the end.
Hence wait for breakthrough bleeding.
If you want to explore your hormonal balances you can continue with the test you mentioned above.

Brief Answer:
Don't worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for trusting to us.
Don't worry.
You are so young and have all the possibilities to conceive. You should try for about one year with regular intercourse, and than make all necessary tests.
Hence for the moment trace your fertile window by using some methods like:
Body temperature
Vagina discharge
Ovulation kits.
In these days you should have intercourse.
Prior of any pregnancy you can start to use folic acid 400 micro gram per day.
All the best
Don't worry
