What Does My Semen Analysis Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hi

I had my semen test last friday 12/09 and came as abnormal for the morphology which is 10% but count & 'motility were pretty good. I and my wife were trying for baby for an year. Also i didnt take any vitamins supplements till now. Fertility Doctor suggested for IUI. We were worried a lot as my income is low to afford such a high treatment. Please give us some good advice what to proceed further to father a child. My wife age is 24 everything good for her.

HSG has been done today for my wife and doctor said everything good as fallopian tubes were open and healthy. Also i notied now in semen report under the liquifaction section it says non liquified. How does it will affect?

As you said normal morphology not sure why doctor suggested directly for IUI. Please advise

This delayed liquefaction could be due to semen infection.

I suggest you get semen culture and sensitivity test done to identify if there is semen infection.

Doctor would have suggested for IUI as this is next logical step.

During Feb 2016 i was treated with Urinary Tract infection so does tht affect my semen as well? At tht time doctor gave some antibiotics to cure the infection. Still am unclear why i had these kind of problems in myself which now chained to semen as well. Please advise
