Question: Dear Sir,Please check my mothers sputum culture report and tell me what is the problem. Images of reports are attached

There is bacterial infection with staphyloccus aureus found in sputum

Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. your mother has bacterial infection from staphylococcus which is grown from sputum culture.

2. There is also slight infection with candida which is fungal.

3. From the antibiotic sensitivity report it is seen that some of the antibiotics like azithromycin, ciprofloxacin and amikacin have largest zone of inhibition and will work well to treat the infection. Please consult the doctor who recommended the test andf they will prescribe an anibiotic which will work in treating the infection.
