What Does My Thyroid Test Report Indicate?

Question: Thyroid Question:
I purchased lab work as I was feeling sluggish and had weight gain and my GYN was blaming my age…
The blood work is "normal" but my thyroid is normally 2.7/3.0 and is now 4.440 and the reference at labcorp is .450 to 4.500, so as you see, my TSH is normal but on the high side.
My T4 7.5 ….. range 4.5-12.0
T3 Update 29 …range 24-39
Thyroxine Index(free) 2.2 Range 1.2-4.9
T4 Free Direct S 1.02 Range .82 to 1.77
T3 102 …Range, 71-180
T3 Free… 2.7, Range…2.0- 4.4
All of my other bloodwork is great, including my D3, which is high norm.
Would this be iodine, stress etc.. is this a worrisome report? I will be going to my GYN but need to find an endocrinologist I suppose to ensure I am on mark.
My family physician will refer unless you are local.
Kindest,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Thyroid is perfect
Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern. I can assure you that this is a completely normal report. TSH of 4.4 is very much normal ( except in pregnancy, where it is considered high). TSH is a pulsatile hormone and it's secretion varies from time to time. Your Free T4 ad Free T3 are perfectly normal too.
Yes, stress can alter the levels of TSH which is a known fact. At this point of time, i would recommend against consulting an endocrinologist. You may request your family physician to get a vitamin B12 test done to see if that is okay. Vitamin b12 deficiency also can cuse tiredness.
