What Does My Thyroid Test Result Indicate?

I had the following test results for my thyroid hormones two weeks ago:
FT4 1,23 ng/dl - Normal value 0,89-1,76 (Direct Chemiluminometric immunoassay); FT3 3,57 pg/ml - Normal value 2,3-4,2 (Direct Chemiluminometric immunoassay); TSH 2,48 µIU/mL - Normal value 0,35 -4,78 (Direct Chemiluminometric immunoassay).
I see the levels are within the normal range. Is there any reason to suspect
a problem with my thyroid, such as "thyroid resistance", or the need to undertake further tests, such as Free T3, Free T4, or peroxidase antibodies?
Many thanks for your help and advice.

Detailed Answer:
It is very likely that the FT3 and FT4 values you have shared represent Free T3 and Free T4. In that case, you already have the test results for these two hormone levels and so further testing for these two is not necessary.
They are both perfectly within normal range as you can see, as is the TSH.
Typically when I see any person in my practice with this type of thyroid blood test results, I do not investigate any further, unless there are compelling signs of a thyroid problems such as:
Complaints highly suggestive of a thyroid problem
Thyroid swelling in the neck area
Evident signs of an overactive or underactive thyroid
If there are such reasons to strongly suspect a thyroid condition, only then do I proceed to check for antibodies and consider rare problems like thyroid hormone resistance.
