What Does My Tilt-table Test Report Indicate?

Following answers to your queries...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
1. Having a positive Tilt test is indicative for vaso-vagal or neurogenic syncope.
2. Carotid sinus hypersensitivity is another to exclude, however, it occurs immediately due to neuro-vascular reflexes that would cause reduction in cerebral perfusion and low heart rate.
I advise to run Doppler ultrasound of neck blood vessels and carotid massaging test for further evaluation and to exlude carotid hypersensitivity .
3. Another cause is water and blood electrolyte disbalance. This is why it's important to be hydrated and to take electrolyte supplements.
Hope it was of help!

Neurogenic syncope is a harmless and is the most common type of syncope...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
As I mentioned earlier a positive tilt test is indicative for neurogenic syncope.
Neurogenic syncope is a harmless syncope and the most common type of syncope. As a rule it doesn't require a specific treatment. All efforts are made to avoid any damage during syncope episodes.
If i was your doctor I would try to identify your fainting trigger. As a fainting trigger may serve:
- Standing for hours
- Heat exposure
- Having blood drawn (The sight of blood)
- Fear of injury
- Valsalva maneuver (such as straining to have a bowel movement).
As a rule i recommend to avoid the above situation.
Wish you health!
