What Does My Transabdominal Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: I had a transabdominal ultrasound done last wednesday two day before my period came. I had it done because last month I had some mid cycle bleeding and was put on provera for 10 days which stopped the bleeding. I had a normal period this past week. My question is during the ultrasound one of my ovaries measured 3.6 cm in diameter and the other measured 2.6 cm in diameter. Can ovaries differ in sizes like this. My doctor did not seem concerned I just wanted to make sure that this was not an enlarged ovary possibly caused by cancer. Also no cyst were present on the bigger ovary. I had a simple cyst on the smaller one but they said that would go away on its own being that it was only 2cm.
Brief Answer:
Ovaries normally can be of different sizes.
