Brief Answer:
No need to take letrozol

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Heavy bleeding during the periods can be due to hormonal disturbances like thyroid dysfunction, uterine lesions like fibroids or dysfunction of the uterine lining due to hormonal changes, endometrial hyperplasia or carcinoma.
If you are relieved by tranexemic acid and mefenamic acid, then there is no need to take letrozol.
Inflammation of the uterus cannot be assessed by ultrasound, and if present, antibiotics should be given to treat it.
I will suggest you get an endometrial biopsy done to confirm the diagnosis, if the heavy bleeding recurs, and get the treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
