What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

Yes straining while passing large stool can cause bleeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for posting your query,
Have gone through your details.
When you pass large or hard stools your rectal muscles strains more then usual to contract the bowel. This causes the already dilated veins inside your hemorrhoids to swell up burst and bleed.
Secondly you had a colonoscopy last friday,Colonoscope cause mild erosion of rectal mucosa. When you try to strain for passing stools this eroded surface may tear up causing bleeding.
As you colonoscopy was normal so i don't think there is any need to worry right now.It rules out the possibility of other serious condition associated with bleed like Colon cancer,Ulcerative colotis etc.
Suggestion.
Take a stool softner laxative like lactulose 10ml once daily before going to bed with half a cup of water. This will prevent any further bleeds and will help in healing of ruptured veins.
Metamucil fibres should be taken daily before going to bed.It contain husk Isabgullu which add bulk to your stool and eases defecation.
Drink XXXXXXX warm water every morning before going to toilet.Water keep stools moist and help it to pass smoothly.
Try to alter your food habits to make stools soft bulky and easy to pass.
In hope i answered your query well,In case you need more suggestion and details feel free to ask follow up question.
Regards
