can CT scan detect most of bladder growth
Brief Answer:
Difficult in case of transitional cell tumors
Detailed Answer:
It is a very difficult task for a Radiologist to completely read a bladder tumor especially the transitional cell tumors which grow in the bladder wall. Care should be taken while reading it. So my point is unless the mind knows it the eyes can't see it and report it.
Invasive tumors can be read with CT scan as they would be protruding out of the wall into the bladder lumen.
Benign growth are even difficult.
Hence MRI is better tool.
