Brief Answer:
Read detail answer as detailed below .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been enlargement of Prostate (BEP) and have been taking Silodol to improve urine flow .

Your recent Ultrasound Scan has revealed mild dilatation of Pelvi Calyceal system of kidneys.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) What is the size of he Prostate reported in scan report?
2) What is the volume of Post Void Urine residue ?
3) What is the status of bladder wall whether it is normal or thickened and trabaculated ?

Before I write in detail about the Dilatation of Pelvi Calacyal System I would like you to let know the normal process of drainage of urine from kidney into bladder .

Formation of urine is a continuous process and urine is drained down from the kidney (Renal Pelvis)by series of propulsive movements (Peristalsis) of renal pelvis and ureter .

However when ever there is obstruction to this process the urine starts getting accumulated (Stagnated)in pelvis of the kidney resulting into dilatation of renal pelvis what is termed as Pelvi Calyceal Dilatation .

Based on your report it is likely taht you have obstructed urine outflow due to BEP which is transmitted backwards in to kidney causing mild Dilatation of Pevi Calyceal system .suggesting endoscopic intervention (Removal ) of prostate by surgery of TURP .

Please consult qualified experienced Urologist and discuss with him regarding need for surgery(TURP) at earliest preventing further damage to kidneys .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
