Brief Answer:
Yes. It is suggestive of infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
Since this is a clean catch specimen it is suggestive of urinary tract infection.
Normally there should be no Bacteria found in urine specimen. The increased number of WBCs and the presence of protein is also suggestive of infection.
Get a urine culture sensitivity done so that you can receive appropriate treatment.
I hope this is helpful. If you have further concerns do write to me. I will be happy to answer
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Hi,
Welcome back.
In the second sample Did they say the the sample is contaminated? The last sentence is not clear to me.
Do you have any urinary complaints?
I presume you have been explained how to collect the urine sample for investigation. First you need to clean the vulval area. Don't collect the initial part of urine. collect the middle part of urine for investigations. If this method is not followed the urine sample may get contaminated with bacteria on the vulva.
UTI does not cause pain during trans vaginal ultrasound. You may experience pain if vagina is dry or tight. You may also experience pain if there is vaginal infection.
If you have further queries do write to me.
Best wishes

Hi,
welcome back.
Now things are clear.
The first result is of urine analysis. Since it is suggestive of infection they said culture is indicated. The second result is of urine culture. Since they found few organisms, they have written that there is no need to do the antibiotic sensitivity test (MIC).
Your pelvic ultrasound is normal.
If you still have pelvic pain and urinary complaints repeat the urine culture again. (since your doctor has screened and ruled out STDs)
If you have further queries, do write to me.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
