What Does My Urine Analysis Test Report Indicate?
Question: Age 70 5 month ago cabg tested urine culture nd klebsiella aero genes treatment

Levofloxacin one per day
Cefoperazone & sulbactum 1.5 injection two tym per day

If Urine culture grew Kliebshella it means that there is urine infection. The Urine Culture test also shows to which Antibiotic the infection will get cured . If the medication started as per the culture report then its fine.

Well I belive you have got a prescription from your doctor , right?
In my practise I advise tab Levofloxacin 500mg once a day for 10 days followed by a repeat Urine Culture on the 8th day of Antibiotic.
If the repeat Urine culture comes negative only then the antibiotic has to be stopped or else to be continued for a week more .
Kindly discuss this with your doctor.
