What Does My Urine Analysis Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hello, and thank you for answering my question, if you will. I have just received results from a 24-hour urine collection, and I am concerned out some of them. In particular I seem to have a high creatinine clearance of 160 in a Range that tops out at 125. In addition to this, the creatinine, urine is 25.9 without a standard reference range and the protein creatinine ratio cannot be determined because of low analyte concentration. I do have pain in my upper back under my ribs, but I seem to be urinating okay. I am a 43 year old white male, but my GFR is only greater than 60. Can someone help me to interpret these numbers? I cannot get in to see my nephrologist for some time, and I am concerned about my pain and these numbers. My father and his father and his brother all suffered from and died from kidney failure. Thank you for your help.
Brief Answer:
Report is good
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
you have mentioned creatinine clearance greater than 120 . well any creatinine clearance above 100 is good. so a higher number better here.
URINE creatinine value alone is of no relevance at all. you need to have a value of amount of protein to calculated protein creatinine ratio.
so you can rest assured . what ever numbers you have told in the description are normal.
any other questions please write in.
best wishes
