What Does My Urine Pregnancy Test Result Indicate?
Question: Doctor yesterday we taken urine pregnancy test in hospital in that one line came dark and another line came lightly so the doctor said it negative...and asked to take blood test we gave that and came result not yet came....my wife last period date is January 6 till now she good only...y it came nenegative sir...Please tell she will get pregnant or not

Thanks for the query, If the urine pregnancy test after 20 days of missing periods still shows faint line , which can lead to a doubt that it may be an ectopic pregnancy . Hence your physician has asked for a serum beta hcg test which can detect hcg levels which if found to b more than 1 or raised , shall confirm pregnancy. bUT IF LESS THAN 1 , THEN ITS NEGATIVE.
iN CASE OF NEGATIVE THEN THE DELAY IN MENSES CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO STRESS INDUCED HORMONAL IMBALANCES during the month and an ultrasound would be required to check for endometrial thickness of the uterus and if more than 10mm and no decidualization or pregnancy , she can be given a withdrawal bleed with progesterone to resume her menses.
If hcg test is positive then it is important to look for intrauterine pregnancy with an ultrasound , if not found then she may have an ectopic pregnancy which shall need an urgent treatment.

Doctor my wife had misoprostol tablet mixed with coffee...whether she get abortion or not

I am afraid she may not get an abortion with a single dose of misoprostol. But the pregnancy has to be confirmed first. You shouldn't be giving her misoprostol without confirming pregnancy .
please get a pregnancy test done again and visit your gynecologist for supervised termination of pregnancy if the test comes positive.
