What Does Nipple Tenderness Just Before Periods Indicate?

My nipples have become sensitive and painful. I'm virgin. My boyfriend sucked them 3-4 times, i lost fun after that it started hurting from Dec13. I did go for running a green,Marathon after they became more sensitive. There is no itching or discharge. Both hurt equally. I read online used coco butter to work if it is because of friction. But they became more sensitive with that. I'm 26 years old. I'm worried what went wrong there used to be slight pain around my monthly periods. My periods are all regular. I think discharge pattern has changed..now its more heavy and it completes within 3 days. I am having loads of hairfall and having supplements from around dec l tyrocine and biominerals. I'm worried and clueless.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Is your nipple tenderness heightened just before your periods - that is very common, and is due to hormones.
If the nipple sensitivity has a fixed time related corelation with your cycles, then it can be alleviated by using temporary hormonal contraceptives for 2 - 3 months.
Also, daily Vitamin E supplements and Evening Primrose Oil supplements for 2 - 3 months also will make a difference.
Changes in weather can cause nipple sensitivity, as can a tight / synthetic bra, or cracks due to vigorous sucking during sexual stimulation.
As a precaution, you should have a clinical breast examination to rule out any nipple / ductal pathology.
For hairloss, get your thyroid levels and vitamin D levels checked ( TSH, Calcium, VItamin D3 levels ) .
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.

Hello
You can take the first capsule once daily and the second one twice a day.
Avoid combined ones.
Again, it is better to have a gynecological exam before starting treatment.
Do take care.
