What Does Polyp On Endometrial Scan Indicate?

Question: Thanks for the valuable input. It was day 3 of egg retrieval as you suggested. My IVF specialist has told me to take a break since my endometrium is thick and Embroyo transfer looks difficult. So has asked me to see her next month after getting my periods and also before egg retrieval there was polyp. Hope this treatment is ok. Hoping my IVF succeeds and get pregnant soon :)

How much was endometrial thickness? . Can you upload a scanned copy of endometrium scan.

Was polyp diagnosed on scan ? If polyp is present it needs to be removed by hysteroscopic surgery before doing embryo transfer.

After I got my periods after the egg retrieval I was sent for a scan again and this time it did not see any polyp but the endometrium was 8mm just on the 4th day after my periods.
So now has suggested that I take a break and come after my periods. But if the periods don't come has asked me to see her and will check my endometrium at that time to see any polyp. If nothing then just take meds and get my periods and monitor my uterus lining again. Hope going through fine

Polyp leads to implantation failure.

If there is doubt it is better to do hysteroscopy and next cycle embryo transfer.
