Brief Answer:
Wart, apply salicylic acid-lactic acid combination lotion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
I have reviewed the attached photograph and your son has developed wart which is a viral infection.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply a lotion containing combination of lactic acid 16.7 percent and salicylic acid 16.7 percent on the affected area twice daily for 2-3 weeks.
This will soften the area and the affected skin can be easily scrubbed with pumice stone.
Various brands containing this combination are available in the market like salex L lotion, cleanoderm lotion and duofilm solution.
You can use either of the above.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

Brief Answer:
Most probably he got the infection from you

Detailed Answer:
Most probably he got the infection from you and yes the virus will be present in his body.
But once the infection is treated he might not present with the disease again.
