Brief Answer:
Smoking and stress induced gastritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Jyothi BL and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Prominent vascular markings with air bronchogram, which is mild in nature, indicates smoking induced irritation. This is normal findings in smokers, specifically during expiration phase of breathing.

2. Your present complaints are not related to lung findings. It appears to be more due to gastritis with reflux esophagitis. You need to avoid spicy food, stress, and anxiety. Smoking can also increase acidity, which can cause these symptoms. Specifically, smoking on empty stomach and stress increases acid induced damage severely to stomach lining and also esophagus lining. Need to stop smoking.

3. Also proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole or esmoprazole with domperidone will be helpful. Antacids can be taken for immediate relief from pain.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.

Hi Doctor,

Thank you for your valuable time.

Please find the attached PIC of my recent xray taken yesterday.

Earlier pain had gone on use of antacid as recommended by you.

I am feeling pain on my right side back, shoulder and neck. Also some in chest but might be because of the above. I can also feel some needle pinch on my right hand. I can see one patch in xray on above right side close to middle part.. Please explain if you find that abnormal.

I consulted my doctor he said it is because of my sales bag which I generally carry on my right shoulder. He has given me Becozinc.

I am worried and asked him a stupid question with might sound to u as well.. Does it has anything to do with lung cancer? I am bit worried but not depressed thinking of me infecting from cancer. I had cut down on smoking and trying to quit as early as possible.

Brief Answer:
definitely, no lung cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

Lung at present seems to be hardly affected by smoking and good to know, that you intend to quit at the earliest. No lung cancer at present.

You might need to avoid carrying too heavy items, and also start neck and back exercises to avoid risk of cervical spondylosis. Pressure on nerves could be the cause of needle pinch in right hand, while other pain could be due to direct pressure pain.

Avoid stress and start back, shoulder and neck exercises. Not to worry.

Hope it helps.

Brief Answer:
Dust exposure - Use protection and cleaning methods

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

Irritation in chest and mucus in mouth could be due to dust inhalation from environment. Wearing mask, in dusty areas and steam inhalation, once a day or 2-3 times in a week, will be helpful.

X-ray was clear. Not to worry.

Environmental dust exposure, keep surroundings clean.

Hope it helps.

Brief Answer:
Its normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

I am unable to compare the pictures as the previous ones are not opening.

However, the present ones, do not show any abnormality. The pain, even if the pathology is in lungs, is never felt localized unless pleura is involved. It is mostly skeletal in nature like bones or muscles, if you are able to pinpoint the location.

The lungs are clear. Not to worry.

Hope it helps.
