What Does Raised TLC Count Indicate?
Question: initially had sore throat , took some anti Biotic , it worked , after few days I had fever and I took one crocin.
after 2 days , morning I woke up with all joint pain , lower backache , fingers pain and mild fever .
went to doctor and she suggested few tests , reports showed TLC count 16900 , and Lymphocytes 15.4.
now I don't have any joint pain but backache is still here . now I feel some dryness and roughness in my fingers. what could be the reason ?

Brief Answer:
Blood counts suggest bacterial infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The blood counts suggest bacterial infection. The TLC is raised and the lymphocytes are also low and I am expecting the neutrophils raised or high normal.
So it suggests bacterial infection. It can be treated completely and early. Please visit the same doctor who suggested tests. You may need another course of antibiotics. Along with it some pain relievers.
Hope this helps.
