What Does Slight Burning Sensation After Urination Suggest?
Question: hi there. i have had a couple new sexual partners in the past several months. i have worn a condom at all times during intercourse, however, not with oral sex. about one week ago i began experiencing a slight burning sensation after urination (very mild) and general penis sensitivity throughout the day that comes and goes. the veins under my foreskin are also slightly inflamed and dark blue. i am concerned that i may have contracted an std, however, i have experienced this in the past and tested negative for all stds. i should also mention that i have been experiencing mild pain in my testicles here and there. what could this be? could the veins in my penis be causing this? thank you!
Brief Answer:
STDs like gonorrhea or chlamydia can have such symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. STDs like chlamydia or gonorrhea can give such symptoms. Taking swab test from urethra or urine test for both will be helpful to rule out this.
Even though it is negative I would suggest taking a course of antibiotic like doxycycline or azithromycin to be on safe side.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing not clear.
Thanks.
