Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these findings. They are consistent with findings in an avid runner. Intense running causes micro traumas to the bone and adaptation of the bone and soft tissues by thickening. These repeated traumas are being continuously repaired and accounts for the inflammatory changes described. The process of trauma and repair involves inflammation and fibroblast that produce tissue for wound healing. This is exactly what the results say.
Also, you sustained a stress fracture and I think this reports suggests that healing is ongoing but not complete. It would be difficult to get a complete healing if there is no rest to provide for this. I hope you consider getting some rest so as to address this continued stress fractures.
In all, these findings are suggestive of repeated micro traumas and consistent with findings in an avid runner. Complete healing needs rest from your athletic activities.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

This deformity relate more to the expected consistency on imaging that is no longer the case due to repeated trauma and inflammation. For sure, an adapted footwear would help and a podiatrist can help you out figuring what is best adapted to your feet.
I will recommend that you start off with a minimum of 6week rest. after this, evaluation would tell whether you need more or it is just enough.
Yes, you would be able to run again. For now, give yourself some resting time in order to recover before getting back to sporting activities. Inflammation would greatly regress and disappear once enough time is accorded to resting and complete healing.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much and feel free to keep the discussion going. How is the swelling of your legs this time around?
This would clear up sooner than later!

Hi and thank you so much for this follow up.
I am so sorry about these bruises that you sustained. I guess your therapist should have been a lot gentle than he was. I hope he would be more gentle on subsequent sessions.
I believe you really need these sessions. Follow up and hope the therapist gets gentler and progressive on this.
I wish you well.
