Brief Answer:
Simple leg swelling is normal in pregnancy, do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
IS your BP normal, please get it measured.
As such , swelling over the legs, particularly the right leg, is common.
The enlarging uterus presses on the veins, leading to swelling.
You can generally treat it by simple measures, as long as your BP is not raised.
Elevate your legs when you sleep at night ( keep 1 - 2 pillows underneath your feet ).
Have somebody massage your legs and calves gently.
Do not stand or sit for prolonged periods.
After every 30 minutes or so, try to prop your feet up .
Rest for atleast 10 hours at night, and take a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.
It will help to drink a lot of fluids.
If your BP is raised, then the treatment will differ.
Have you gained weight excessively in pregnancy ?
Is your thyroid test normal ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
