What Does The MRI Report Of The Stomach Indicate?
Question: I just read an MRI report of the stomach it said i had a hemorragic proteinacacous (spelling??) cyst in my kidney. I was told by the nephrologist that could mean cancer. Is that something i should be really worried about?
Brief Answer:
It is less likely to be cancerous but it needs further evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through the details and it seems less in favour of cancer. The diagnosis of cancer needs both clinical correlation and investigations like biopsy. There might be reasons to worry but I would strongly insist you not to panic. Further evaluation or treatment will make things clearer.
Let me assure you that if cancer is detected before it spreads to surrounding structures or the lymph nodes, it is 100% curable. So, please do not lose hope.
