What Does The MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Hello Doctor,
done brain MRI of my father aged 68 years. report reads as under:
No acute infarct, hematoma or space occupying lesion is seen.
Few old lacunar infarcts are seen in the bilateral basal ganglia and external capsules
Tiny local area of fliiosis is seen in the left cerebellar hemispheres
Few lacunar heperintense foci are seen in the bilateral fronto-parietal white mater on FLAIR images
Mild confluent heperintesities are noted in the bilateral periventricular white matter on T2 weighted and FLAIR images
There is generalized prominence of ventricular system, cortical sulci and basl cisterns which is proportionate with age
rest of supra and infratentorial parenchyma is normal
the intracranial vessels and dural sinsues display the expected flow void.
No mildline shift is seen
The craniovertebral junction is unremarkable.

Brief Answer:
What are his symptoms?Clinical history?
Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
I have taken note of your father's MRI findings. His MRI is suggestive of multiple old small ischemic infarcts along with ischemic demyelination.
These changes can be observed in patients of old age, especially those who are hypertensive,Diabetic or chronic smokers.Does he have any of these risk factors?
Further, please let me know his symptoms for which his MRI was done so that I can guide you towards his management approach.
I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
Regards
