Question: Hi! I attached a ct scan of my brain.. plus an xray of my skull. Wondering what each one means.. in a way that it easier for me to understand. Also based on both.. what it could be. Basically.. could it be anything serious via reports that I need to follow up asap?!

Brief Answer:
Mild cerebral and cerebellar atrophy are age related findings.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

As we discussed earlier, you have benign findings and there is nothing to be worried about.
Skull X-ray shows a small calcification in occipital region.Calcification may be due to benign conditions like osteoma, calcified hematoma(calcification occurs in long duration)etc.

CT scan report indicate mild cerebral and cerebellar cortical atrophy. These are age related findings and it is expected in all persons. It develop due to aging.
Findings are earlier in your case.

These are all benign conditions and don't require any treatment. It is not a serious condition.

Hi! I went to ER yesterday due to feeling light headed , pressure in my ear. Bloodwork came back and it showed my liver enzymes high. The ER Dr. didn't treat me for it. I am concerned why it is so high & if it could be from taking pain killer medication recently for headache/pressure from bump on my head. I also take anti depressants & anxiey med. I don't drink alcohol. I notice I have slight tenderness in my right abdomen. also due for me menstrual any day.. I figured the tenderness was from that. worried now because of the high liver enzymes. attached is bloodwork.

Brief Answer:
Increased ALT may be due to many reasons.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Your findings suggests increased ALT and AST level.
Increased ALT may be due to many reasons like hepatitis, alcohol intake, altered lipid profile, medicines, auto immune causes etc.
It need proper evaluation in your case.It is important to rule out any drug toxicity.
AST is non specific and it increases in many conditions.

You need few other investigations like viral markers, lipid profile and ultrasound of abdomen.

You may need to take some medicines after proper evaluation.I suggest my patients to take tablet ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg twice daily for three months. It helps in regeneration of liver cells.

Get well soon.
