I am so sorry to hear about this report and all the disturbing thoughts this has caused you. White mater is part of the brain and spinal cord and is normal and expected to be seen on an MRI. there is no reason to get worried unless they say there is something wrong with it

It has nothing to do with diabetes. It is normal unless it is said to have a disease condition. It is similar to saying you have "an ear".
