Brief Answer:
Will suggest some medicine change

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

I can see that the lipids have decreased in august report.

I would suggest the following:

1. Can discontinue lipicard since lipids have come down. Consult your doctor regarding discontinuation of medicines.

2. Can continue vasoplip for one more month. But I do not think even this medicine is necessary for these levels of lipids.

3. Maxepa is omega fatty acid. It has considerable side effects including irritability, diarhea, etc. Thus I would suggest that he discontinues this medicine as well. Take cleanest drinking water in case he develops diarhea.

4. Regarding sugar levels, he does not need medicine. But he should keep a regular track of his sugar levels. He should also take low sugar food and exercise regularly.

5. He should take low calorie diet to lower lipids. Avoid high calorie milk foods like cheese, butter, ghee, creams, ice cream, sweets, etc

6. Can also try extra garlic in food. Tab Lasuna by Himalaya co. has shown lipid lowering effects in some researches. It can also be taken.

Hope it helps.
