What Does The Following CECT Scan Report Indicate?
Question: Dear Sir,
I would like to have your suggestion for my Gfather who’s 84 years old. It’s been a month he is unable to eat food & having back pain. Since one week he is stuffing from severe lose motion and unable to eat anything. We consulted with local physician and got CECT scan done. Attached is the report of the test.
Please let me know what exactly the test report suggests and the best way to treat it.

Brief Answer:
Needs Evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in
Having a look at the reports it seems your grandfather has secondaries in the liver, prostatic enlargement and lymphnodes in portal region.
I would suggest you see a good oncologist in your area to find out if these are secondaries, if yes you need to identify the source and treat accordingly.
In the mean time give him parentral nutrition under guidance of a nutritionist and add a good probiotic for loose motions
There is some form of infection in his body as the counts are 12000 so you need to give a detailed history of fever, cough, etc.
Hope this helps
Do write back in case of concern

Hi
Thanks for your followup
I can not comment on this as we do not have a confirmed clinical diagnosis with us, it is just a radiological impression
Get a FNAC done by a good oncologist and get back to me with the reports
Hope this clears your doubts
