Brief Answer:
Go for 2d echo plus life style modification and amlodipine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Thank you for asking your query on this forum.
Classification of blood pressure according to JACC is
Prehypertensive stage Systolic 120-139 and diastolic 80-89mm of hg.
Mild hypertension- Systolic 140-159 and diastolic 90-99mm of hg.
Moderate - Systolic 160-179 and diastolic 100 to 109 mm of hg.

Your blood pressure falls in mild systolic hypertension and mild diastolic hypertension. At a age of 28 its alarming.
Firstly a Renal doppler should be done to rule out renal artery stenosis and an MRI abdomen should be done to rule out pheochromocytoma.
After that-
You should start drastic life style modification changes.
Run 5.1 km daily.
Eat low fat and restricted salt food.
Exercise 45 minutes everyday.

Stop Meztox.Betablockers are not the first line therapy used for hypertension.Swiitch over to amlodipine 5 mg once daily. It is a calcium channer blocker and is very safe and well tolerated by young patients.

Left ventricular hypertrophy can be appreciated by high voltage criteria in ecg but atleast an echo should be done to confirm it.However hypertension may have caused hypertrophy.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow up answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Your EKG is suggestive of sinus tachycardia. This is a very common problem seen in young adults.
Keep on taking Metoprolol and Alprazoram as advised by your cardiologist.
Treatment is fine.
I don't think there is any need to change treatment.
Start following all other advices i gave earlier.

Follow up aftyer 2 weeks.

Thanks.
